Dr. Adam Krawczyk
Dr. Adam Krawczyk is experienced in all levels of veterinary care including general practice, internal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine. A native of Long Island, Dr. Krawczyk completed his undergraduate degree at Cornell University. He completed his clinical training at Western University of Health Sciences and has completed a general rotating internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists, where he continued on as a staff emergency clinician for one year. Dr. Krawczyk has made the transition from emergency medicine to general practice at Long Island Animal Hospital. He greatly enjoys building bonds with his repeat clients and patients, which is something that he was not privy to as an emergency clinician. In his spare time, Dr. Krawczyk enjoys spending time outdoors, taking his 3 dogs for walks, and boating on the Great South Bay.
Dr. Jessica Chandler grew up in North Bellmore, NY. She received her bachelor of music degree at The Juilliard School where she majored in violin performance and studied with Itzhak Perlman. While at Juilliard, she enjoyed volunteering at the ASPCA as a foster care volunteer and a veterinary assistant. A few months after graduation, she decided to pursue veterinary medicine, and she began studying at Columbia University’s Postbac Premed program while continuing to volunteer at the ASPCA as well as a wildlife rehabilitation clinic and other animal hospitals.
She graduated from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 with a strong interest in internal medicine, behavior, nutrition, and pain management. She is thrilled to join the wonderful team at Long Island Animal Hospital. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, playing and teaching violin, and attending Broadway shows.
